"UYAI MOSE" (Come all you people)

I listened to this prayer during my compline time tonight and it really moved me. So I thought I'd share it....

Come all you people,
Come and praise your Maker
Come all you people,
Come and praise your Maker
Come all you people,
Come and praise your Maker
Come now and worship the Lord.

Beautiful words, carving out space for to embrace sacred memories of people & a land that I miss... love.

I have a friend who is apart of the Iona community in the Glasgow area. She tried hard to get me to Iona before leaving Leeds, but my mind had been set on Taize before even starting that journey. One day I hope to spend some time in Iona.

Thanks for sharing.

Apologies Jonathon, I was writing fast and I must pay more attention as I write. :) Your blog gave way to stillness for me to embrace sacred memories. I do not take enough time during my daily rhythm of life to do that.
Anyway. thanks
