I'm thinking of writing a letter to President Bush to see if he'd nominate me for Poet Laureate. Never published a collection of my poems yet, but . . . there's hope still!
Bush's emphasis on loyalty as the deciding factor on appointments suggests that he has forgotten the difference between being a president and being a king. He is the caretaker of the government, not its owner, and cannot dole out gifts from the public largess at will.
I am...
A traveling nomad who ponders the Good only while laying in a hammock.
A bard, or poet, who wants us to re-imagine what we see in the world so that we can learn to tell our stories in a different way.
someone who purposefully does not make sense nor take himself too seriously
