yeah, i don't know if its just me but i find that conservative evangelicals feel the need to create christian copies of things that are sucessful in the secular world and then market them as safe or christian alternatives.
although i find some of those alternatives as having worth at times (music for instance when it has real artistic integrity) i also find that mindset as unhelpful when christians ought to be engaging and contributing in the public sphere.

And I thought the Wiki article on the Emergent Church had a very conservative bias.
