This Tuesday, Sept. 20, any bloggers who come from the Wesleyan traditions and are in the middle Tennessee area, are invited to the Alektor Cafe for fellowship and lunch- 12-2pm.
We'll be getting to know one another face to face and although I don't have much of an agenda for this time together, I feel the direction being that of how bloggers have a unique way of being bridge builders in the Wesleyan tradition.
I hope you might be able to make it out if you're in town. I did invite our bishop for the TN Conference, Dick Wills, but he already has a committment for that day. We will be getting together with him in the very near future. And I did get a sneak peak yesterday at his blog that should be up and going within the next week or so.

ps: I WILL BE ON A BLOG-BATICAL THIS WEEK. I HAVE A COUPLE OF PAPERS TO FINISH UP FOR A CLASS AND I'M AFRAID IF I DON'T JUST TELL MYSELF THAT ALL FREE TIME WILL BE COMMITTED TO THOSE PAPERS I WON'T GET THEM FINISHED.
I WILL BE POSTING A "CENTERING FROM THE CENTER SHOW" HOWEVER. I'LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT'S UP.

Wesleyian? Why don't you guys just come back to Anglicanism and we can allot a little pietism here and there so that you don't feel totally disconnected to American Methodism? ;)
i actually did invite a friend of mine who is episcopal, but she doesnt blog much so i dont' think she feels like she ought to be in on this conversation. i actually think it would be cool to have methodist, nazarenes, episcopals, ame's and others all together at the table to talk.
I am insanely jealous of you guys.

Arghhhh! Today at Umcom conference communicators are being hosted for lunch and a tour. I would have loved to come! Hope we can do this again soon. I gotta get together ("meetup") with all of you!

So, how did this thing go? I was so annoyed that something cam e up at work like it did. I so often have nothing to do for lunch except make my microwave lunch and look at my RSS feeds. I hope it went well and that we can do it again (or "you all could do it again and I could come")
