For the true Christian, this should not be a complex issue. God’s Word is what all pastors and church leaders are commanded to proclaim, in season and out of season—when it is well received and even when it is not (2 Timothy 4:2). Thats a statement. Its interesting how only TRUE Christians will be able to understand the INFALLIBLE SOURCE OF TRUTH. Which apparently advocates the tribulation and rapture as well as a literal 6 day creation story in Genesis. Man, has Macarthur ever read the stinkin Bible? And what happened to the past two thousand years of theological history? Augustine didn't even interpret Genesis 1 as a literal 6 days.

Interesting, but truly sad.

it goes to show how we have divorced scripture from tradition and basically tried to act as though tradition does not exist or does not have a valid voice.

The great irony of divorcing scripture from tradition is that it was that same tradition that decided what belongs in the Bible in the first place.
